Eldoret Municipality Asked To Craft a Development Plan to Guide Its Operations

The County Assembly of Uasin Gishu has passed a motion asking the Eldoret Municipality in collaboration with the relevant department to develop an Urban and Cities Integrated Development Plan that will guide its operations. Kaptagat Member of County Assembly (MCA) Jonathan Ng’etich while moving the motion expressed concerns that the Eldoret Municipality is currently operating without any development plan, three years since it was awarded a charter.
