The County Government of Uasin Gishu has initiated a project that will see a new road constructed from the Eldoret town Central Business District (CBD) through Testimony School and Boma inn hotel. According to the County Executive Committee Member in Charge of Roads Eng. Gideon Birir, the road named after the late Eldoret Anglican Church of Kenya Diocese Bishop Alexander Muge will pass through Racecourse Estate. The road, Eng Birir says, intends to act as a reliever of the airport road. This means there will be traffic using the road to the airport. We are taking precautions because we are projecting that there will be high traffic using the road in the future,” noted the CECM.
