Land Management Committee Asked To Ensure Clear Records of Land Ownership in Uasin Gishu

Uasin Gishu Deputy Governor Daniel Chemno has challenged the recently formed Land Management Committee in the county to come up with strategies that will help provide solutions to land injustices as well as clear records of land ownership. The committee was formed in an attempt by the county to help streamline and provide input towards best land management practices. “This committee is charged with the provision of a trusted judgment of land ownership processes without favor so that every land record that goes through the committee earns the public trust. I believe this is an able team to bring change even as regularization and new allotments are done,” Chemno said while speaking during a meeting with the committee members.
