Governor Jackson Mandago-led administration through the Department of Roads has been keen on expanding the road network in Uasin Gishu by opening new roads as well as maintaining and improving the existing ones.

New occupations in Kapseret Sub-County, 15 kilometers away from the Eldoret CBD, are now coming up with land buyers getting attracted to many areas that are becoming residential places for urban residents and new shopping centers being developed.
