The construction and tarmacking of Racecourse road, a vital linkage to the residents to access Government various facilities and services including; the Kamalel Health facility, Racecourse Primary, Racecourse secondary and Pastoral Center has come to its completion.

During the launch of the road, Governor Jackson Mandago promised to give a new face-lift to Eldoret town and its environs.

Already tarmacking of various roads around the municipality has been ongoing, with several completed.

Racecourse Road Project Assistant Engineer David Rop and the contractor, in the routine supervision of the project, noted that the construction works were well designed, ensured quality work is done including road markings and walkways along the road.  

"We are pleased with the speed and final product, the quality is superb and we commend the contractor for delivering the work way early. We expected the project to end in August but it's now complete. The walkways are serving the residents already with many motorists opting for the road," said Eng Rop.

With the road now in use, the area is expected to open up for more development due to its easy accessibility – thanks to the tarmacked road, a key component when it comes to scouting out a potential place to invest as a home or real estate.
