Plans for 8 Trading Centers in Uasin Gishu Ready – Where To Buy Land

Uasin Gishu County Physical and Land Use Consultative Forum have recommended plans for 8 trading centers.

The forum is chaired by the County Executive Committee Member for Lands, Housing, Physical Planning, and Urban Development Eng Nelson Maritim.

Centers whose plans have been recommended are Kipsigak, Garage, Tuiyo, Kaplolo, Ngeria, Kipsangu, Chepkurmum, and Nyalilbey.

Together with expert input from the State Department of Physical Planning, CECM Roads Eng. Gideon Birir, CECM Water Mrs. Mary Njogu, and CECM Education Mr. Joseph Kurgat, who are members of the forum, agreed that the plans meet the conditions required by the Physical Planning act Regulations and was due for circulation in the recommended offices.

Among the offices, the plans will be forwarded to include the office of the Director-General of Physical Planning who input references numbers to the plans for onward presentation.

Already, the county is working on plans for Moisbridge and Burnt Forest – with an of being elevated to the town status, once Eldoret town gets the city status.
