Where to Buy Land: County to Upgrade Major Rural Roads in Kesses

The County Government of Uasin Gishu is planning to upgrade a 6 kilometers road from Chepkongo'ny center to Cheptiret Center in Cheptiret/Kipchamo Ward, Kesses Sub-County to a bitumen road.

The exercise is expected to be completed before December 2021.

The County’s Department of Roads, Energy Transport, and Public Works has already completed the collection of data for the upgrading of the road.

The road is one of the major rural roads in Cheptiret/Kipchamo Ward, Kesses Sub County, and its upgrade is expected to solve the perennial flooding problem at ACK St. Lukes Cheptiret School at Cheptiret Centre.

Roads County Executive Committee Member Eng. Gideon Birir while leading the data collection exercise said proper drainage structures will be provided along the road which is very important for accessibility to markets for farmers.
